Foreclosed home sales jumped 13% in Central Ohio in 2012, RealtyTrac says

The number of Central Ohio homes sold in foreclosure was up big last year, despite a shrinking trend nationally.The Columbus metropolitan area’s 6,100 units sold in foreclosure in 2012 was up more than 13 percent from a year earlier, according to new data from online foreclosure marketplace RealtyTrac.The state of Ohio recorded 29,400 such sales, for a nearly 10 percent year-over-year bump.
