Broward County had some of the best neighborhoods for lending in 2011, but banks overlooked many parts of the county with lower-income residents.A story in Friday’s print edition of the Business Journal explored why loans to blacks in South Florida fell in 2011, which contrasts with the overall increase in lending in the region.
