Spectrum Properties out of Brooklyn Village project

Spectrum Properties has lost its contract to buy Marshall Park — a key piece of the long-delayed Brooklyn Village development in Charlotte — because the local company failed to close by March 1 or deposit $100,000 in exchange for an extension to June 1.Affiliate company Spectrum Investment Services won the extension on the nearly $19 million land deal from Mecklenburg County and Charlotte officials after pledging to deposit $100,000 into an escrow account by March 1 if it couldn’t close.But…
